Announcement of Annual Examination (2005) of Foreign Invested Enterprises and Foreign (Region) Enterprises Directly Registered at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce

According to provisions of "Regulations on Administration of Registration of Companies and Measures for Annual Examination of Enterprises", we will conduct enterprise annual examination (2005) for foreign invested enterprises and foreign (region) enterprises from March 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006, and hereby announce the following matters:

1. Scope of Examination: Foreign invested enterprises, foreign enterprises operating business in China, and foreign invested financial institutions, insurance companies and securities companies directly registered at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce before December 31, 2005.

2. Time of Examination: From March 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006.

3. Way of Examination: The online annual examination will apply to foreign invested enterprises and foreign (region) enterprises directly registered at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Enterprises can visit the "Online Annual Examination System for Foreign Investment Enterprises, wznj.saic.gov.cn" (or the site of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, http://www.saic.gov.cn, the Official Site for Registration of Foreign Investment enterprises in China, http://wzj.saic.gov.cn) to apply for annual examination of 2005.

4. Enterprises failing to submit for the annual examination within the specified time limit with justification shall submit application for postpone before June 30, 2006. An extension of 30 days will be granted after the approval of registration authority. Enterprises failing to submit for the annual examination within the specified time limit will be punished or even revoked the business license.
